Full camera footage, written line reports, and honest repair-vs-replace recommendations with visual evidence.
Sewer line repair is one of the most evidence-dependent decisions in residential plumbing. The right diagnosis can save thousands of dollars; the wrong diagnosis can cost thousands. The line in question is buried, often at depth, and the homeowner has no visual access to the conditions being assessed.
This information asymmetry is the foundation of how some sewer contractors operate.
Action Plumbing Services Inc operates differently. Every sewer inspection produces a documented record: a complete video file of the camera run, a written line report identifying anomalies by linear distance and severity, and a recommendation tied directly to the evidence. The homeowner receives the documentation. The recommendation is reviewable, second-opinionable, and traceable to specific findings.
Full-length camera run from cleanout to municipal connection. You receive the complete video file, written line report with linear distances, and pipe material assessment.
Spot repair of single damaged joints, root intrusion sections, or pipe deterioration. Post-repair camera verification included.
Full replacement when evidence shows distributed failure or pipe material at end of service life. Trench and trenchless options presented.

Permits are pulled where required. Technicians hold appropriate state licensure and carry current insurance.

Yes. The complete video file is provided as part of the inspection deliverables. You keep it.
The line report determines the recommendation. Localized failure with the rest of the line structurally sound supports spot repair. Distributed failure or pipe material at end of service supports replacement.
Same-day for active issues. Within a few days for non-emergency evaluations in Rexburg.
For traditional excavation, an access trench is required. For trenchless methods, surface impact is minimal. The expected disturbance is discussed and documented before work begins.
Most homeowners do not realize that sewer line documentation is valuable beyond the immediate repair decision. The complete inspection record — video, written report, and material assessment — is an asset that retains value across multiple future contexts: insurance, real estate transactions, second opinions, and future maintenance.
We provide the full inspection record on every sewer job we perform in Rexburgbecause we believe it is the homeowner's information.
If a contractor has recommended sewer repair or replacement and you would like to verify the recommendation against documented evidence — or if you would like an inspection that produces transferable documentation — schedule with us today.
